Sliding
Sash are much more traditional. Sliding sash
can be supplied with or without Georgian bars and in
timber or pvc-u. Our pvc-u Heritage range are
incredibly like timber in appearance. The dimensions
of the frame sections are similar to those of traditional
timber windows but Heritage pvc-u frames will not warp
or rot and are fully draught stripped. They also
can be tilted once opened, for emergency escape and
to make cleaning the outside of the glass easy. |
| Tilt
& Turn windows are not so common in the UK as
on the continent. The frames can have larger opening
sashes than outward opening windows and are often used
where a house is designed with smaller but squarer individual
frames. Tilt & Turn windows will open inwards
from one side for easy cleaning and fire escape but
for normal ventilation open inwards from a bottom hinge
point to one position which give about 150mm (6") of
ventilation. Tilt & Turn frames are available
in pvc-u only. |

Curved
head and round windows can be made to special order
for any window style and from any material. We
can also supply shaped sections that fit into the tops
of pvc-u windows to give them a 'cottage' window look. |
| Pivoting
windows have opening sashes that literally have
a pivot which allows them to turn almost inside out.
They are available in pvc-u and are very easy to clean. |
